What this site collects
Analytics data (Google Analytics)
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use content. Google Analytics collects information such as:

- Your approximate geographic location (country or city level — not your precise address)
- The device type and browser you are using
This data is aggregated and anonymous from the author’s perspective. The author cannot identify individual visitors from Analytics reports.
Google Analytics uses cookies — small text files stored in your browser — to track visits across sessions. The main cookie Google Analytics sets is _ga, which persists for two years by default. A second cookie, _gid, persists for 24 hours.
What the author uses this data for: Understanding which topics readers find useful, so that future content can be directed accordingly. That is the only use.
What the author does not do: Sell, share, or otherwise monetise visitor data. The author has no access to personally identifiable information about visitors.
